Who Should Apply
This bursary is open to South African-born citizens who are studying full-time at a recognized DHET/CHE-accredited South African tertiary institution during 2026 and will be registered for their 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of undergraduate study in 2027.
Eligible fields of study include Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical, and Industrial Engineering; Computer Science, Data Science, Cyber Security, AI/Machine Learning, and Information Systems; as well as Commerce disciplines including Accounting Science, Finance, Economics, Logistics and Supply Chain, and Operations Management. Applicants must have achieved at least a 70% average in Grade 12 (Bachelor's Pass) and maintain an aggregate of 65% or higher at tertiary level.

Requirements
Must be a South African-born citizen
Must be studying full-time in 2026 and registering for 2nd to 4th year of undergraduate study in 2027
Must be studying at a DHET/CHE accredited tertiary institution in South Africa
Must be pursuing an approved qualification in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Finance, Accounting, Logistics, or Business Administration
Minimum Grade 12 academic performance: Bachelor's Pass with at least a 70% overall average
Minimum tertiary academic performance: 65% cumulative average across all years of study
Must be willing to undergo screening, interviews, and psychometric assessments if shortlisted
