Position Overview
The purpose of the position is to repair vehicles to OEM approved standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute work precisely as per job card instructions, ensuring all specifications are met.
- Assist in the stripping of vehicles and accurately assessing the extent of damage.
- Utilize a range of hand tools and specialized equipment to shape and form metal panels.
- Skillfully sand and prepare vehicle surfaces for painting, ensuring a smooth and flawless finish.
- Efficiently remove dents and straighten vehicle panels to restore their original form.
- Perform welding and soldering tasks as needed, adhering to safety and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Ensure all hand tools and equipment are booked into the storeroom at the end of each day for accountability and security.
- Collaborate effectively with other team members to ensure timely completion of repairs.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company procedures.

Requirements
- 2+ years' experience in panel beating within the vehicle repair process.
- Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent
- Valid, unendorsed Code 8 driver's license
- Computer literacy β basic level sufficient
- Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, at the required workplace standard
