Key Responsibilities & Core Duties

• Assist in sourcing, negotiating, and placing official purchase orders for direct and indirect engineering materials.
• Conduct regular pricing comparisons across suppliers to ensure competitive costing and commercial value.
• Manage daily stock forecasting, inventory monitoring, and demand planning in collaboration with production teams.
• Liaise with local and international vendors to expedite delivery schedules and track purchase shipments.
• Coordinate with technical and quality assurance teams to verify that incoming materials adhere to exact specifications.
• Process purchase requisitions, request supplier quotations, and assist in new vendor vetting and onboarding.
• Resolve order discrepancies, invoice queries, and delivery issues with internal and external stakeholders promptly.
• Support the implementation of continuous supplier improvement programmes and performance benchmark scorecards.
