Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and urgent site visits to monitor conditions within correctional centres.

• Perform regular face-to-face consultations and formal interviews with inmates and Department of Correctional Services (DCS) officials regarding mandatory matters and complaints.

• Accurately receive, record, and capture all inmate grievances and administrative requests into the official JICS electronic database.

• Maintain organized and secure case management files for ongoing investigations.

• Systematically track outstanding complaints and conduct diligent follow-ups until resolution.

• Compile, analyze, and submit monthly statistical oversight reports to regional management.

• Provide professional responses to public and stakeholder enquiries while maintaining strict confidentiality.

• Execute all reasonable instructions assigned by the designated Regional Manager or supervisor.
