Key Responsibilities
- Actively participate in structured theoretical and practical training modules for your chosen artisan field (Rigging, Electrician, Boilermaker, Diesel Mechanic).
- Assist qualified artisans in the maintenance, repair, and installation of mining equipment and infrastructure.
- Adhere strictly to all mine safety regulations, operational procedures, and quality standards, especially when working underground.
- Learn to diagnose faults, troubleshoot issues, and implement effective solutions under supervision.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order and ensure a clean and organised work area.
- Engage in continuous learning and development, completing all required assessments and practical tasks.

Requirements
- Be South African citizens.
- Preferably be between 18 and 35 years old.
- Reside in Matlosana Local Municipality, Viljoenskroon, Rammulotsi or Vierfontein areas (provide proof of residence).
- Be medically fit to work underground.
- Successfully undergo the required security screening.
- Have Matric / Grade 12.
- Have at least an N2 qualification or Technical Grade 12 certificate.
- The technical qualification must include: Mathematics, Science, Relevant Trade Theory, Engineering Drawing.
- At least two of the required subjects must have been passed with 50% or higher.
- Have not previously participated in the listed programmes.
- Attach comprehensive and updated CV, certified copy of a valid South African ID, certified copies of relevant academic transcripts, certified copies of qualifications, and proof of residence.
