As an intern teacher, you will gain hands-on exposure to everyday preparatory school operations under the direct mentorship of seasoned Foundation Phase educators. You will be actively supported through a structured coaching environment designed to nurture your pedagogical skills, classroom management techniques, and professional competence in early childhood education.

Key Responsibilities & Core Duties

• Support lead teachers in daily Foundation Phase classroom instruction, lesson preparations, and educational activities.
• Assist with the preparation of age-appropriate learning resources, teaching aids, and visual materials.
• Supervise learners during classroom exercises, playground intervals, and scheduled co-curricular activities.
• Monitor individual student progress and provide supportive intervention for learners requiring extra assistance.
• Assist in maintaining an organized, stimulating, and safe classroom environment conducive to early learning.
• Participate actively in staff meetings, coaching workshops, and structured mentorship check-ins.
• Support administrative tasks including register maintenance, assessment record-keeping, and event coordination.
