Job Description
PPS Investments is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Intern to join its Human Resources Department. This graduate internship offers a unique and invaluable opportunity for recent graduates to gain comprehensive, hands-on experience across various critical HR disciplines within a dynamic financial services environment. The successful candidate will play a supportive role in implementing HR strategies, contributing to a positive and effective work culture, and developing a foundational understanding of corporate HR operations in South Africa.

Key Responsibilities
- HR Business Partnering: Assist HR Business Partners in delivering HR strategies and solutions that align with business objectives. Support the implementation of HR projects and initiatives. Participate in meetings with business leaders to understand their HR needs and provide appropriate support.
- Employee Relations: Support the management of employee relations cases, including grievances and disciplinary actions. Assist in conducting investigations and preparing related documentation. Contribute to the development and implementation of employee engagement initiatives.
- Recruitment: Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews. Support onboarding activities for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
- Talent Management: Support talent management initiatives, including performance management, succession planning, and development programs. Assist in the administration of learning and development activities. Help maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
- EVP & Wellness: Contribute to the design and delivery of Employee Value Proposition (EVP) and wellness programs. Support initiatives that promote employee well-being and work-life balance. Assist in organizing wellness events and activities.
- Rewards & Benefits: Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs. Support the development and communication of total rewards strategies. Conduct research on industry best practices and market trends in compensation and benefits. Help manage employee inquiries related to compensation, benefits, and rewards.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines – Commerce, Industrial Psychology, Human Resources Management or Organisational Psychology.
- An Honours degree in any of the above fields will be advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
