Job Description
The Durban ICC SOC (Ltd) is offering a valuable ISO Graduate Internship opportunity for young individuals seeking to gain practical workplace experience. This 24-month fixed-term contract places the successful candidate within the ISO Department, where they will actively support daily operations and contribute to the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of ISO standards and quality management practices. This program is designed to foster professional growth and equip graduates with essential skills in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in maintaining all documentation for ISO systems.
Coordinate the activities of document control, including the distribution of documents.
Track and report on document review progress.
Support internal and external audits by facilitating readiness checks in various departments.
Coordinate ISO inductions for all new employees.
Collate information into monthly waste inventory reports.
Coordinate all compliance meetings and ensure registers and minutes are accurately kept.
Ensure all files are updated with the latest information for all ISO systems.
Coordinate purchase requisitions using the JDE system.
Provide general administrative support to the department.

Requirements
Matric (Grade 12)
National Diploma / Degree in any of the following disciplines: Quality, Microbiology, Safety, Environmental Science, or Chemical Technology
Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills
Knowledge in health and safety regulations
Proficiency in MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook)
Time management skills
Good verbal and written communication skills
Strategic thinking and decision-making abilities
Ethical and professional conduct
Attention to detail and accountability
