MiWay is seeking motivated graduates and emerging tech talent to join their dynamic team as an IT Desk Support Intern based at their head office in Kosmosdal, Centurion. In this role, successful applicants will embark on an intensive 12-month professional development journey within a modern corporate technology ecosystem. Working alongside experienced desktop engineers and systems specialists, you will deliver hands-on technical solutions supporting call-centre staff and corporate executives across South Africa.
First- and Second-Line Technical Support: Troubleshoot and resolve desktop, laptop, mobile device, and software issues covering Windows 11, Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, and OneDrive.
User Identity & Access Management: Assist with password resets, account unlocks, and multi-factor authentication (MFA) configurations under supervision via Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.

Incident & Ticket Resolution: Accurately log, monitor, update, and resolve user support requests using Jira Service Management within agreed service level agreements (SLAs).
Telephony & Contact Centre Systems: Provide baseline troubleshooting for corporate telephony infrastructure, including Genesys Cloud and CIC systems.
IT Asset & Inventory Tracking: Perform routine hardware audits, update the central asset register, and assist in tracking serial numbers for returned and newly provisioned equipment.
Documentation: Assist in drafting work instructions, standard operating procedures, and weekly IT operational status reports.
MiWay is an innovative, forward-thinking direct financial services company celebrated for its high-energy culture and dedication to service excellence. By joining this 12-month internship programme, you will gain hands-on exposure to enterprise-level architecture—including Microsoft Intune, SCCM, and cloud tools—while being mentored by industry veterans. MiWay champions transformation and equal opportunity, fostering an inclusive work environment where curiosity, accountability, and bold thinking are rewarded.
Showcase Hands-On Projects: Since formal work experience is not mandatory, highlight personal IT projects, university lab experiments, PC builds, or network configurations directly in your CV.
Spotlight Microsoft & Cloud Familiarity: Emphasize any familiarity with Windows 11, Microsoft 365 applications, Active Directory, or Jira, as these tools form the core of daily operations at MiWay.
Demonstrate Customer Centricity: Desktop support relies heavily on interpersonal skills; tailor your cover note to explain how your patience, problem-solving mindset, and positive attitude will help resolve user frustrations swiftly.
