Key Responsibilities

• Assist employees with everyday IT queries, providing first-line support and troubleshooting basic hardware, software, and connectivity issues efficiently.
• Help install, configure, and maintain a variety of IT equipment, including desktops, laptops, printers, and other essential devices, ensuring optimal performance.
• Provide support for Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive, assisting users with functionality and resolving common problems.
• Support user account setup and access administration, meticulously following guidelines provided by the senior IT team to ensure security and compliance.
• Assist with network and Wi-Fi troubleshooting, identifying and resolving minor issues, and escalating more complex problems to senior technicians when necessary.
• Help support specialised hotel and restaurant systems, including Point of Sale (POS) terminals, printers, and related devices, ensuring seamless operational flow.
• Gain practical exposure to advanced IT infrastructure components such as Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy, learning their practical applications.
• Assist with routine system checks, software updates, backup monitoring, and maintaining accurate records of IT equipment, contributing to proactive system maintenance.
• Log all support requests diligently and document troubleshooting steps and resolutions, building a comprehensive knowledge base for future reference.
• Help employees understand basic system functions and promote good IT practices, enhancing overall digital literacy within the organisation.
• Strictly follow IT security procedures and handle all user information with the utmost confidentiality, upholding data privacy standards.
