Job Description
Clover South Africa is offering an outstanding career opportunity for ambitious and motivated unemployed youth to join the Secondary Distribution Department through the Youth Employment Service (YES) Learnership Programme. Based at Clover's Atlas facilities in Boksburg, this 12-month work-readiness initiative is structured to equip young individuals with high-impact industry experience, practical supply chain skills, and specialized knowledge in fleet logistics and Daily Route Management (DRM) operations within the FMCG sector.
Key Responsibilities
Learners will receive structured mentorship and practical training while supporting real-time distribution and tracking operations:
Driver Route Tracking: Monitor driver adherence to scheduled delivery routes using the Daily Route Management (DRM) system.
Incident Escalation: Promptly escalate route exceptions such as unauthorized stops, speeding, extended idling, harsh braking, and boundary violations to operational managers.
Turn Around Time (TAT) Monitoring: Track delivery turn-around times, identify potential delays, and report issues to relevant supervisors.
Route Variance Analysis: Analyze planned versus actual kilometres, driving hours, standing times, and sequencing compliance.
Fleet and Asset Coordination: Oversee vehicle-to-route allocations and coordinate seamless shift handovers for unresolved queries.
DRM System Maintenance: Verify debriefing reports, report geo-fencing inaccuracies, monitor inactive routes, and generate routine performance summaries for project leaders.

Requirements
South African citizen between 18 and 33 years of age.
Minimum Grade 12 / Matric qualification.
Currently unemployed and available for the full 12-month contract.
Must not have previously participated in a formal learnership or YES programme.
Strong administrative, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
Proactive mindset with basic computer literacy and capability to work effectively in a team environment.
