Al Baraka Bank is inviting ambitious and talented South African graduates to apply for its 12-month Sales Graduate Internship Programme. This structured developmental opportunity is specifically tailored for recent graduates holding qualifications in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Marketing who are eager to build an impactful career in ethical banking, client relationship management, and financial advisory services. The programme combines hands-on workplace training, formal learning, and one-on-one mentorship to empower graduates with critical commercial skills across major financial hubs including Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal, and the Western Cape.
Key Responsibilities
Gain comprehensive, rotational exposure to a diverse suite of Shariah-compliant retail, business, and corporate banking products and financial solutions.
Participate actively in the dedicated Sales Academy, mastering consultative selling methodologies, customer acquisition strategies, and portfolio management.
Shadow senior relationship managers and client advisors to learn professional client engagement, onboarding processes, and service delivery.
Assist in preparing market research, sales reports, presentations, and client compliance documentation in line with regulatory requirements.
Complete all mandatory regulatory and compliance training modules, including FICA, FAIS, and internal governance frameworks.
Collaborate effectively across cross-functional branch and departmental teams to resolve customer queries and drive exceptional customer satisfaction.
Take ownership of self-development goals, actively participating in regular performance reviews, mentorship sessions, and continuous peer-learning programmes.

Requirements
Recent graduate holding a completed Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Marketing.
