Key Performance Areas

• Management Accounting Services (Budgeting process): Oversee and participate in the budgeting process, including budget preparation, monitoring, and reporting. Ensure effective allocation and utilisation of financial resources in line with strategic objectives.
• Financial Accounting Services: Manage and review financial accounting functions, including ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and public finance regulations.
• Supply Chain Management Services: Supervise and implement supply chain management processes, including procurement, asset management, and contract administration. Ensure all SCM activities are conducted ethically and in accordance with legislative frameworks.
• Managerial/Supervisory Functions: Provide leadership and guidance to a team, overseeing their performance, development, and adherence to departmental procedures. Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within the financial administration unit.
