Key Responsibilities
Conduct market research, assess prospective vendors, and draft structured Requests for Quotations (RFQs) to support strategic sourcing initiatives.
Analyze vendor pricing models, contract terms, and supply proposals to maximize commercial value and minimize business risk.
Execute spend analytics and quantitative market intelligence to identify tangible cost-reduction opportunities across multiple operating divisions.
Assist with end-to-end supplier relationship management, supplier performance evaluations, and sustainable ethical procurement initiatives.
Compile detailed procurement reporting packs, spend dashboards, audit documentation, and master contract files.
Collaborate on multidisciplinary commercial projects under the guidance of assigned executive mentors and procurement coaches.
Support operational compliance, governance verification, and standard operating procedures across all procurement activities.

Requirements
Must be a South African Citizen.
Relevant Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, Transport, Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
Postgraduate qualification (Honours or equivalent) is advantageous.
Strong academic achievement with an overall aggregate average of 75% or higher.
A valid South African Driver’s License and access to reliable own transport is preferred.
Exceptional analytical capability, critical thinking skills, and quantitative reporting proficiency.
High standard of ethical conduct, professional integrity, and ability to handle confidential commercial data.
Self-motivated attitude with a strong desire to learn, innovate, and thrive in a fast-paced logistics environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities paired with strong interpersonal collaboration skills.
