Key Performance Areas

• Administer, Maintenance and Control the GG Fleet at the District: Oversee the daily administration, maintenance schedules, and overall control of the Government Garage (GG) fleet within the district. This includes ensuring vehicles are roadworthy, serviced regularly, and used in accordance with departmental policies.
• Order Taxi Transport as per Request from GMT: Facilitate the ordering of taxi transport services based on requests received from Government Motor Transport (GMT), ensuring timely and appropriate transport solutions for departmental needs.
• Administer, Verify and Monitor the Use of Rentals: Manage the process of vehicle rentals, including administration, verifying usage against approved requests, and continuously monitoring their efficient and cost-effective deployment.
• Supervision of Employees/Staff: Provide effective supervision to a team of employees, including performance management, training, and fostering a productive and compliant work environment within the logistical services unit.
