This structured 12-month opportunity is specifically designed for motivated, career-driven South African youth who want to establish a successful long-term career within the competitive financial services sector. Successful candidates will complete a nationally recognized National Certificate: Wealth Management (NQF Level 5) qualification while gaining vital on-the-job exposure within high-performing wealth management teams.
Throughout this programme, candidates will be immersed in various operational and administrative facets of wealth management. Learners will gain direct, hands-on experience supporting client servicing, underwriting pre-sales, claims administration, retirement fund structures, and life benefits. By balancing formal classroom training with practical workplace application, learners will acquire the regulatory knowledge, technical expertise, and professional competencies required to excel in modern corporate finance.
Key Responsibilities
Complete all theoretical modules, assessments, and portfolio of evidence requirements for the NC: Wealth Management NQF Level 5 qualification.
Provide operational support to the wealth management and financial advisory teams in daily administrative tasks.
Assist with professional client servicing, managing routine inquiries, and ensuring high-quality customer experience.
Support claims administration, pre-sale underwriting processes, and documentation handling.
Develop deep functional understanding of core financial products, including life benefits, funeral cover, and retirement funds.
Maintain accurate electronic records and capture client data strictly in line with data integrity standards.
Ensure compliance with all relevant financial sector legislation, compliance frameworks, and internal governance policies.
Participate actively in team projects, business improvement initiatives, and developmental workshops.

Requirements
Grade 12 / Matric certificate (South African citizen by birth).
Minimum Level 4 (50%) in Pure Mathematics OR Minimum Level 5 (60%) in Mathematical Literacy.
Minimum Level 4 (50%) in English (First or Additional Language).
Minimum Level 4 (50%) in a Second Official South African Language.
Between the ages of 18 and 30 years at the time of application.
Must NOT be currently engaged in formal employment or post-Matric studies.
Must NOT have previously completed any formal learnership programme.
Proficient in basic computer applications, particularly MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Outlook.
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
An incomplete tertiary qualification in finance, economics, or related commerce fields is advantageous.
