ENS, Africa's largest law firm, is offering ambitious young talent an exceptional entry point into the corporate and legal services environment through the YES Intern Programme. Established as part of the presidential Youth Employment Service initiative, this 12-month structured programme is designed to equip unemployed youth across South Africa with invaluable corporate workplace experience, high-level mentorship, and foundational career readiness. Opportunities are available across dynamic functional departments situated in Cape Town and Johannesburg, providing successful candidates with meaningful professional exposure within a prestigious, high-performance corporate landscape.
Selected candidates will be placed into specialized business units tailored to their educational qualifications and career interests, covering Accounts, Information Technology, Business Intelligence, and Marketing. Whether managing accounts reconciliation, providing hands-on IT support, configuring business intelligence workflows, or designing creative marketing collateral, interns will work alongside industry-leading professionals and acquire real-world capabilities that build long-term career momentum.
Accounts & Finance Support (Cape Town): Assist with General Ledger administration, Accounts Payable verification, Tax compliance documentation, and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) risk vetting procedures.
Information Technology Services (Cape Town & Johannesburg): Deliver first-line technical support, field service queries within the contact centre, manage hardware asset registers, and assist with cyber security assessments, software testing, training delivery, and IT project coordination.
Business Intelligence Administration (Cape Town): Support data cleansing, dashboard upkeep, database maintenance, and operational reporting under the guidance of senior BI analysts.
Marketing & Creative Design (Cape Town): Collaborate with the national marketing team to produce branded digital assets, junior graphic design deliverables, internal newsletters, and event collateral aligned with brand standards.
Professional Development: Actively participate in all scheduled YES programme workshops, performance appraisals, and structured corporate development sessions.

Through this 12-month contract, participants benefit from hands-on mentoring, market-relevant tooling, and the prestige of having one of the continent's elite legal firms prominently featured on their professional curriculum vitae.
Target Your Preferred Discipline: Clearly indicate in your cover letter and CV which specific track you are targeting (e.g., IT Technical Support, Accounts Payable, Junior Graphic Design, or BI Administration) and align your stated coursework or certifications directly to that pathway.
Highlight Digital Literacy & Relevant Tooling: Detail specific tools you have mastered, such as Microsoft Excel for accounts roles, ticketing systems or troubleshooting methodologies for IT roles, or Adobe Creative Suite for the graphic design opportunity.
Emphasize Professional Reliability: Because this programme operates in an elite corporate legal setting, showcase your attention to detail, confidentiality awareness, and punctual communication style through a polished, error-free resume.
