Job Description
Transnet Port Terminals is currently seeking dynamic, innovative, and recently qualified graduates to participate in the prestigious 24-month Young Professional-in-Training (YPIT) Programme. This structured two-year development opportunity is designed to bridge the gap between academic theory and practical workplace experience. Key Responsibilities
Operational Support: Delivering assigned project deliverables and administrative tasks across designated functional departments.
Professional Learning: Shadowing senior professionals, participating in high-impact workshops, and executing cross-functional development assignments.
Stakeholder Communication: Interacting with internal and external clients to evaluate needs, manage urgent operational requests, and provide ongoing project status updates.
Query Management: Serving as a proactive point of contact for vendor, supplier, and end-user inquiries to ensure quick, efficient resolution.
Research & Analysis: Performing foundational research, data analysis, and documentation to assist team decision-making.
Project Execution: Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver strategic initiatives and optimize business solutions.

Requirements
South African citizenship with a valid ID.
Relevant National Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, Risk Management, Safety/Environmental Management, Human Resources, Accounting, Communications, Financial Management, or Law (LLB).
Recently qualified graduate with minimal to no formal corporate work experience (0–2 years).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
High analytical capability and problem-solving mindset.
Willingness to commit to a full-time, 24-month structured training contract.
