TB HIV Care is seeking a qualified and dependable Driver to join their Support Services team based in Ngqeleni, Eastern Cape. TB HIV Care is an established non-profit organisation that delivers integrated health services to communities across South Africa. In this vital role, the successful candidate will provide essential transportation for wellness teams, medical supplies, and equipment across various health facility locations while actively assisting with community mobilisation and client outreach initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Team & Equipment Transportation: Safely transport clinical wellness teams, outreach staff, and medical equipment to designated communities and health facilities across the OR Tambo district.

• Vehicle Maintenance & Inspection: Conduct thorough daily vehicle pre-trip inspections, monitor routine service schedules, maintain vehicle cleanliness, and report mechanical defects immediately to the line manager.

• Safety & Compliance: Strictly adhere to all national road ordinances, safety precautions, organisational vehicle standard operating procedures, and transport policies.

• Community Mobilisation & Support: Assist the outreach team in mobilising clients to access testing and health services, act as a marshal during community wellness drives, and support site mapping and profiling.

• Confidentiality & Administration: Accurately complete vehicle logbooks, fuel receipts, and trip sheets while maintaining strict client confidentiality at all times.
