Key Responsibilities
Render general clerical support services, including recording, organizing, storing, capturing, and retrieving correspondence and data.
Handle routine inquiries, type letters, and draft minutes or other correspondence for the Directorate.
Provide supply chain and clerical support services within the component.
Update and maintain the asset register of the component and manage stock control of office stationery.
Maintain the leave register for the component and provide personnel administration clerical support.
Provide financial administration support services within the component.
Respond to customer queries, complaints, and disputes regarding GEHS services and products.
Provide guidance and assistance to government departments and employees on housing allowance benefits.
Assist government employees with the GEHS enrollment process.
Resolve incoming calls and emails from government employees and refer relevant queries to appropriate officials.
Conduct capacity building and support for government departments and employees on GEHS services.
Develop project plans for GEHS educational and outreach sessions.
Support content development for GEHS branding and marketing materials, including website updates.

Requirements
Grade 12/ Senior Certificate.
No previous experience required for Human Resource Clerk.
A Senior Certificate, a minimum qualification at NQF Level 4 in Customer Care / Marketing / Communications / Human Resource Management as recognised by SAQA for Customer Care Agent.
Knowledge of clerical duties, practices as well as the ability to capture and collect statistics.
Knowledge and understanding of the legislative framework governing the Public Service and knowledge of working procedures in terms of the working environment.
Computer skills, interpersonal relations, Flexibility and Teamwork.
Planning and organisation, language and good verbal and written communication skills.
Analytical, Initiative, Openness and transparent attributes.
Knowledge of Government Employees Housing Scheme and its product offering.
Knowledge of public service administration, Batho Pele Principle, Conditions of Service, the Public Service Act and Public Service Regulations.
Written and verbal communication skills, facilitation skills, presentation skills, planning and organising skills, customer orientation, conflict management, Interpersonal relationship skills, report writing skills, problem solving, and solution Orientated and Innovative.
