The Nurture Health Group is seeking a dependable and service-oriented General Worker to join their rehabilitation hospital team in Gqeberha/Port Elizabeth. Key Responsibilities
Execute general maintenance and support duties in accordance with Nurture policies, processes, and systems while maintaining a safe hospital environment.
Provide driving and operational support as required, report on daily activities and outcomes, and represent the hospital professionally when needed.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and stakeholders, share relevant information, and actively participate in learning and development activities.
Assist in ensuring the hospital premises are clean, orderly, and conducive to patient recovery and staff well-being.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and assist in minor repairs or escalate issues to the appropriate personnel.
Support logistical needs of the hospital, including the movement of equipment and supplies.
Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations and hospital protocols at all times.

Requirements
Proven experience in a healthcare environment as a general worker, porter, cleaner, security guard, or similar role.
A valid professional driving permit.
Practical problem-solving ability.
Strong accountability and teamwork orientation.
Ability to plan and execute daily activities independently.
Commitment to the SAFMA Code of Conduct.
Professional behaviour and a willingness for continuous learning within rehabilitation and healthcare environments.
Minimum Grade 10 or equivalent qualification.
