As an IT Trainee, you will work closely alongside experienced IT Technicians and Systems Engineers to deliver first-line technical support across the group. Key Responsibilities & Core Duties

• Provide reliable first-line remote and telephonic technical support to users via the centralised IT Helpdesk.
• Troubleshoot, log, and resolve hardware, software, printing, and user connectivity problems efficiently.
• Capture and maintain accurate, up-to-date service ticket records and progress updates using JIRA.
• Escalate complex system errors or high-level infrastructure disruptions to senior IT Technicians when necessary.
• Configure, stage, and deploy end-user equipment including desktop workstations, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
• Perform routine hardware inspections, preventative maintenance, physical upgrades, and component replacements.
• Assist network administrators with the setup, monitoring, and basic maintenance of switches, cabling, and Wi-Fi access points.
• Maintain comprehensive IT asset registers, ensuring all hardware is properly tagged, audited, and tracked.
• Ensure strictly managed compliance with group cybersecurity policies, software standards, and data integrity protocols.
