As a Junior Chemical Plant Operator, you will perform essential daily operating routines that keep the supply chain moving smoothly to meet customer demand. From taking precise liquid samples to monitoring equipment interlocks and supporting maintenance turnarounds, this role provides valuable hands-on petrochemical depot operations experience in a world-class energy business.

Key Responsibilities & Core Duties

• Operate chemical storage and dispatch equipment in strict alignment with depot standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Execute routine product sampling both at ground level and at heights on bulk storage tanks using approved safety equipment.
• Perform basic laboratory sample analysis and interpret standard quality control parameters accurately.
• Assist with the safe isolation, touch-and-tag, lock-out, and gas testing of equipment scheduled for engineering maintenance.
• Conduct systematic daily plant readings, emergency equipment inspections, and basic asset care routines.
• Identify operational defects and implement swift corrective actions to mitigate process deviations and plant downtime.
• Participate as a designated sweeper or floor controller during depot safety drills and emergency scenarios.
