Key Responsibilities & Core Duties

• Prepare routine samples, biological media, and testing reagents in strict accordance with approved laboratory methodologies.
• Execute basic sample preparation tasks independently while upholding precision and sample integrity.
• Manage the organized storage and chain of custody for processed specimens, reagents, and media batches.
• Perform safe and compliant disposal of laboratory waste, chemicals, and bio-specimens according to environmental protocols.
• Execute thorough cleaning, decontamination, and sterilization of laboratory glassware, plasticware, and workbenches.
• Conduct routine inspections, cleaning, and maintenance checks on laboratory testing instruments and equipment.
• Track inventory levels of diagnostic consumables, media, and testing chemicals to avert operational stockouts.
• Support quality system compliance and audit readiness by working strictly within ISO 17025 standards.
