The role combines careful driving with loading supervision, stock quantity verification, and cash collection. As an ambassador for The Building Company on the road, the driver must uphold high standards of road safety, maintain the assigned vehicle in peak condition, and ensure that every delivery matches the customer delivery note precisely.

Key Responsibilities & Core Duties

• Transport and deliver retail building goods and supplies to designated customer addresses securely.
• Supervise vehicle loading to ensure correct distribution, prevent transit damage, and secure all cargo.
• Perform daily pre-trip vehicle inspections, check fluid levels, and report mechanical defects promptly.
• Maintain vehicle logbooks, monitor service schedules, and adhere to cost-reduction driving techniques.
• Obtain authorized customer signatures on delivery notes and accurately balance collected COD cash.
• Deliver exceptional customer service at drop-off locations and represent BUCO professionally.
