The Cape Town EDITION is seeking enthusiastic and attentive individuals to join its pre-opening team as Pool and Recreation Attendants. Designed to offer a sophisticated yet relaxed social atmosphere, the recreation and pool deck at The Cape Town EDITION will be central to the guest experience, offering luxury leisure amenities to international and local visitors.

As a Pool and Recreation Attendant, you will oversee guest activities, preserve pool deck cleanliness, maintain equipment, and uphold safety protocols. You will act as an ambassador of the property, creating a welcoming and pristine environment that meets the exacting standards of luxury hospitality.

Key Responsibilities & Core Duties

• Engage with hotel guests to provide information on recreational facilities, leisure activities, and deck operating hours.
• Clean, mop, and maintain the pool deck, lounge areas, and recreational spaces throughout the shift.
• Monitor guest activity around pool areas continuously to ensure full adherence to facility safety guidelines.
• Collect, fold, and distribute clean pool towels and manage recreational equipment inventory.
• Process transactions for rental equipment, retail purchases, or leisure facility bookings using POS systems.
• Respond promptly to safety hazards, assist in first-aid or emergency situations, and report maintenance needs immediately.
