Key Responsibilities & Core Duties

• Execute the daily settlement process for commercial clients in strict compliance with internal policies and banking guidelines.
• Verify and process daily transaction batches to confirm that proper accounts are credited with precise values.
• Adhere to strict payment release deadlines to prevent operational delays or contractual penalties.
• Investigate, document, and resolve client settlement queries submitted via telephone and email communication.
• Collaborate closely with regional cash centres and internal reconciliation teams to resolve transaction variances.
• Prepare, verify, and release manual payments and process recoveries for identified payment discrepancies.
• Manage exception device reports, escalating unresolved discrepancies to the Settlements Manager promptly.
• Perform scheduled operational settlement duties on alternating weekends and designated public holidays.
