This role is offered on a six-month fixed-term contract within a high-performing finance division, offering exposure to complex accounting systems and institutional banking practices. The appointed candidate will play an essential role in safeguarding financial accuracy through disciplined ledger maintenance and daily reconciliation processes.

As part of the finance team, the incumbent will maintain oversight of cash balances, resolve inter-system variances, and collaborate with operational branches to uphold regulatory and accounting standards. Key Responsibilities & Core Duties

• Extract transaction batches from the iMal banking system and update cash book ledgers accordingly.
• Perform daily and month-end reconciliations of bank statements against system records to ensure balanced financial positions.
• Investigate discrepancies, identify root causes of unreconciled items, and follow up promptly with branches.
• Verify transaction integrity across internal systems, including the Enterprise Debit Card platform and SWIFT interfaces.
• Monitor and analyze bank charges and interest calculations, preparing reconciliation schedules aligned with Power BI reports.
• Prepare comprehensive audit files, supporting working papers, and respond timeously to internal and external audit requests.
• Support statutory reporting requirements and update interbank placement records within scheduled monthly deadlines.
