Salesperson Contract Role at Sleepmasters

Sleepmasters is currently recruiting a proactive and motivated Salesperson to join their store team along Landros Maree Street in Polokwane on a three-month fixed-term contract. In this critical retail position, you will be on the front lines of assisting customers in finding optimal sleep solutions, premium mattresses, and complementary bedroom accessories. You will ensure every shopper experiences dedicated, attentive service that aligns with the respected Sleepmasters brand values.

As an integral contributor to branch success, you will actively work towards daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals. Your day-to-day work involves consulting with walk-in clients, explaining comfort technologies, guiding clients through cash or credit payment arrangements, and maintaining neat visual displays across the store floor.

Key Responsibilities & Core Duties

• Welcome clients to the store, understand their comfort preferences, and recommend tailored bedding solutions.
• Meet and exceed allocated sales targets, ancillary service budgets, and customer satisfaction metrics.
• Administer accurate cash and credit transaction documentation in full alignment with store operating procedures.
• Uphold store visual appeal through immaculate display merchandising, pricing accuracy, and stock tidiness.
• Foster long-term customer relationships by handling inquiries, delivery tracking, and after-sales support with empathy.
• Continuously build deep technical understanding of sleep ergonomics, mattress specifications, and manufacturer warranties.
